Next Generation Hearing Aid Technology

The next breakthrough in hearing technology has finally arrived in the form of the Widex Clear 440 Hearing Aid. The official launch in the UK for the Clear is not until mid-October but Ebor Hearing are delighted to announce that we have been selected as a pilot site to offer demonstrations and trial fittings in advance of the launch.
The Clear is a premium Receiver-In-Canal (RIC) hearing aid which incorporates the next generation of wireless connectivity to devices such as mobile phones and televisions. Bluetooth technology has previously been used by hearing aid manufacturers to connect to such devices, but this has its limitations. Widex in Denmark have developed their own wireless technology to deal with the data and signal transfer between the hearing aids and other devices. This new breakthrough offers echo-free TV viewing with no signal delays, clear sound quality for programmes and clear speech on a mobile phone, all delivered through the World's smallest 100% wireless RIC hearing aids.  Through Widex Link the Clear also offers true inter-ear communication between the left and right hearing aids. A pair of Clear 440s deliver 3D TruSound which more closely replicates natural localisation of sounds. There is also an option to manually select the direction which the hearing aids pick up speech from, which offers definite advantages in situations such as conversation in a car. The hearing aids will reduce the effect of the engine noise and can directly focus either to the side to hear the driver from the passenger seat, or to the rear to hear speech from the back seats.
To discover just how clear the Clear 440 hearing aids are and for demonstrations on the benefits of wireless connection with TVs and mobile phones please contact one of our branches. We are one of the few hearing aid companies that are able to offer FREE demonstration fittings in advance of the official launch from Widex UK. This is your chance to be among the first people in the country to experience the next generation of hearing instrument technology. We will be holding dedicated open days to showcase these hearing aids in due course, but in the meantime if you would like to get a first look and listen book an appointment today quoting 'Clear Demonstration'.
